New Year's Resolutions to Keep!

Yesterday I posted the lyrics to "Seasons of Love" from Rent. With all the craziness that went down last year, I think we should ALL resolve to love more. Let's think before we say something, let's take a moment or two to consider our actions and how they will affect those around us, and let's spread the love.

What are your resolutions for this year?

I'm turning 30 this April, so I'm thinking about how I want to end my 20s and embark on my 30s. A few things I want to work on this year:
  • Under-promise and over-deliver (this is a big one that I admittedly struggled with last year).
  • Take more pictures and document moments big and small.
  • Overcome my elevator phobia.
  • Don't be so hard on myself (this is going to be hard...).
  • Clean the kitchen while cooking.
  • Learn to make sauces.
  • Get in the habit of making time for myself.
  • Train for and run another half-marathon.

Whatever your resolutions include (or maybe you're not the resolutions type), commit to loving more, okay? :)

  2. Thanks Rox! Last year, I had a huge list of resolutions and I did that thing of over-promising, so many never got accomplished- major bummer. And as for the half marathon, you CAN do it! I used to manage a marathon team for Team In Training and had all kinds of people that were not runners complete NUMEROUS half marathons and even fulls. If you have the support and a goal, you can do it!

  3. I just found your blog via doorsixteen... I moved to Stockton from Oakland about a year ago and LOVE San Francisco. Finding this blog makes me miss home. I'm happy to find a blog based in San Francisco.

  4. Thank you so much for reading, Rosie S! There are so many beautiful places around the world, but I just have a soft spot for San Francisco and feel so lucky to live here. Hope you continue to enjoy the blog!
